Asanda Moloabi
Upon her return to South Africa, she began working on her entrepreneurial ambitions and soon co-founded Clad Chic, an exclusive lifestyle brand for style-conscious, discerning female professionals whilst balancing a highly demanding investment banking career. During her financial advisory career she has had the great opportunity to learn from and advise on transactions for Rothschild & Co. and EY. An experience that inspired her to create Cradle Impact as she discovered the importance of building businesses with purpose and for impact and the effect this had on social structures.
Asanda is passionate about developing socially conscious young leaders and purposeful businesses and communities that prioritise social change and the overall wellbeing of society.
To date, she has served and continues to serve as a mentor for high school and university graduates. She has previously served as a student mentor for UCT’s Extended Curriculum program and the Rothschild Foundation and as a board member in the African Leadership Academy’s Student Enterprise Program focused on the development of young entrepreneurs.
She currently spends her time devoting her life to her greatest callings; building businesses, designing and facilitating individual and group coaching programs, advising executives and founders, serving her family and community, and fulfilling her most demanding role to date: being mom to two energetic boys.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town and an MSc Finance degree with distinction from Grenoble Graduate School of Business in France. In line with her expertise at Cradle Impact, she has also completed a Centre of Coaching Certificate with the UCT Graduate School of Business and has had extensive financial modelling and business training
Masego Moloabi
Prior to her role at Cradle Impact, she served as a Social Media and Content Creation Manager at Sports Mvt, where she not only showcased her expertise in branding but also had the privilege of arranging interviews with South Africa's elite women athletes. Despite her love for branding, Masego also has a deep appreciation for sports, and she was the trailblazer in hosting the first-ever TuksBasketball Alumni Day, leaving a mark in the sports community.
Masego's academic achievements are impressive and reflect her commitment to excellence in her field. She holds a BCom General degree from Pearson Institute of Higher Education, which provided her with a solid foundation in marketing. To further refine her skills in branding, she pursued an Honours degree in Strategic Brand Management from Vega School, where she honed her ability to create impactful brand strategies. Additionally, she holds a certificate in digital content and copywriting from Red and Yellow - Creative School of Business, demonstrating her adaptability in the digital marketing landscape.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Masego's true passion lies in helping others. Whether it's supporting people in their fitness journeys or making sure that their accomplishments are recognized, she is deeply committed to promoting and showcasing greatness. This genuine desire to uplift and highlight others' achievements is what led her to choose the branding route as a means to create awareness and celebrate the positive impact individuals and organizations make.
With her blend of marketing acumen, sports enthusiasm, and genuine care for others, Masego Moloabi continues to make her mark in the branding world, driving impactful campaigns and highlighting the greatness of those she works with.
Lesego Maele
Prior to joining Cradle Impact, Lesego started her corporate journey as a Transactional Buyer at Santam Insurance and freelanced as an admin assistant at Iron Buffalo Media. As she was completing her postgraduate degree she served as a student assistant for PYCH 121(Social and Community Psychology). Lesego worked at Hyundai 4wheels as a Sales Trainee.
Lesego also served as Deputy Chairperson for Miss J Movement Foundation (NPO), a youth organization that primarily focuses on youth development and community services. She also collaborated with The Maths Whartels Project which aims to improve students’ math achievement, the SOLE project (Self, Others, Learning & Environment) at Curro Mafikeng, Greater Taung Outdoor Extreme Sports Heritage Campaign, and served at her local Rhema Bible Church. Her community-based work inspired her to form a company called Refiloe Maele Media which aims to incorporate creative arts (cinematography, music, creative strategy) with evidence-based research to create awareness, and discussions, and solve cognitive, behavioral, and social problems.
Lesego holds an Honours Bachelor of Health Science degree from North West University and a certificate in Introduction to Search Engine Marketing, Strategic Framework, Content Marketing Basics Instagram Marketing, Managing Employees, and Fundamentals of Digital Marketing.
Lesego has a deep interest in the Positive Psychology Movement and is currently working on building a Positive Psychology Hub that will create a wider ecosystem for the high number of psychology graduates without clear pathways to professional training opportunities and employment prospects in the field of psychology. Lesego believes that as a young African female living in the 21st Century with a plethora of opportunities it is our responsibility to maximize and utilize all avenues to consciously create impactful lives for our world.
Boipelo Moloabi
Over the years, he has facilitated the development of research–based programmes for a number of townships, peri-urban and rural economies through renewable energy power generation, commercial industrialisation, hydroponic farming and water projects across South Africa and Costa Rica.
He currently serves as non-executive director and guest facilitator for our Cradle Impact programs. Boipelo holds a National Diploma in Marketing from the University of Johannesburg and a Global Executive MBA with Hult International Business School.
