Asanda Moloabi

Cradle Impact Founder & CEO
Cradle Impact CEO and Founder, Asanda Moloabi’s purposeful work began in 2010 after a life-changing coaching conversation lead her to ultimately resigning from her role at Nedbank Limited, cashing in her retirement and enrolling to study a Masters in Finance degree at Grenoble Ecole de Management in France, an internationally renowned Business School also known as a Business Lab for Society striving to respond to both corporate and social challenges.

Upon her return to South Africa, she began working on her entrepreneurial ambitions and soon co-founded Clad Chic, an exclusive lifestyle brand for style-conscious, discerning female professionals whilst balancing a highly demanding investment banking career. During her financial advisory career she has had the great opportunity to learn from and advise on transactions for Rothschild & Co. and EY. An experience that inspired her to create Cradle Impact as she discovered the importance of building businesses with purpose and for impact and the effect this had on social structures.

Asanda is passionate about developing socially conscious young leaders and purposeful businesses and communities that prioritise social change and the overall wellbeing of society.

To date, she has served and continues to serve as a mentor for high school and university graduates. She has previously served as a student mentor for UCT’s Extended Curriculum program and the Rothschild Foundation and as a board member in the African Leadership Academy’s Student Enterprise Program focused on the development of young entrepreneurs.

She currently spends her time devoting her life to her greatest callings; building businesses, designing and facilitating individual and group coaching programs, advising executives and founders, serving her family and community, and fulfilling her most demanding role to date: being mom to three energetic boys.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town and an MSc Finance degree with distinction from Grenoble Graduate School of Business in France. In line with her expertise at Cradle Impact, she has also completed a Centre of Coaching Certificate with the UCT Graduate School of Business and has had extensive financial modelling and business training.

Lima My Journey My Journal

As a means to add value to coaching sessions with our clients even long after the sessions have ended, Asanda Moloabi decided to create our very own curated journal, The Lima My Journey My Journal.

The journal is not just an extension of our guided coaching conversations but also serves as a safe space for capturing goals and aspirations. The journal is designed for anyone looking to get clear on their life purpose or anyone looking to change their world in a fun and impactful way.

The journal is a collection of pages filled with inspiring quotes and curated to facilitate one’s journey of purpose, wealth and impact.

Lima means ‘to cultivate’, and this journal is curated to facilitate the cultivation and documentation of one’s legacy. We hope that one day future generations will find themselves wading through the very same pages and possibly get a glimpse into the founding pages of lifelong legacy.
